South West Marine Ecosystems - Plymouth University

We had an opportunity to tell 200 or so scientists, ecologists, conservationists, students and volunteers about the Cornwall Coastal Otter Project. Many friendly faces in the audience and also plenty of people who hadn’t heard about the project who were working with more traditional marine species and aspects of oceanography, climate science and pollution. The conference made for a long day but it was very interesting and definitely worth considering in the future – perhaps we will have some results to present next year? Also lots of useful new contacts who I hope we can tie into the CCOP and maybe broaden our interests in marine mammals.
