Small Mammals at Seaton

We have had some success collecting otter spraint at Seaton Country Park this year so we returned with the Longworth traps to look for smaller mammals with Jenny Heskett the park ranger. Seven of us set and cleared 30 traps around the steep woodland and wet valley floor. We all got rather wet and some of us a bit bit (sorry Jenny!). relatively few records but wood mice, grey squirrel, roe deer and mole all put in appearances as did a large breakfast on the Wednesday morning.
